Business Consulting

Practical business consulting for owners of small and mid-size companies — from someone who runs one, builds software for dozens more, and is sharpening the toolkit with an MBA at the University of Cincinnati.

What I help with

Technology Strategy

What to buy, what to build, what to cancel. An honest map of your systems and where the money is leaking — written in plain English, not vendor-speak.

Process & Automation

Find the spreadsheet that's quietly running your business and replace it with something that doesn't break. I've automated intake, quoting, scheduling, and follow-up for real companies.

Digital Presence Review

Your website, search visibility, and lead flow, assessed end to end — what's working, what isn't, and what to do about it in priority order.

Ongoing Advisory

A standing seat at your table. Regular check-ins, a sounding board for decisions, and someone technical who's accountable to you — not to a software vendor.

How an engagement works

  • Conversation first. A free call about your business, what's bothering you, and whether I'm actually the right person to help. If I'm not, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
  • Assessment. A fixed-scope, fixed-price look at the area we agreed on, ending in a written plan you own — whether or not we ever work together again.
  • Execution or advisory. Implement the plan with your team, with my studio, or with me advising alongside — whatever fits your budget and appetite.

Why me

Most consultants have either operating experience or analytical training. I'm building both on purpose: fifteen-plus years designing and running business systems for companies in Ohio, Tennessee, Georgia, and New Jersey — plumbers, manufacturers' suppliers, churches, retailers, professional practices — plus an MBA in progress at the University of Cincinnati. I've sat on the vendor side of the table for two decades. I know the games, and I don't play them.

And because I own a studio that builds software, my advice comes with an unusual guarantee: if the plan calls for something to be built, I can be accountable for building it — or hand you a spec any competent developer can execute.

Start with the conversation

No pitch deck, no discovery-call script. Tell me about your business and what's in the way. Reach out here — I answer my own email.
